How much mulch or loam do you need?

 

Multiply the length and width of your beds, or yard, to find the square footage. Divide the square footage by the thickness multiplier in column B and this will tell you how many yards of material you will need.

 

Example: a 20 foot by 20 foot bed at 3” thick: 20 Foot x 20 foot = 400 Square feet divided by 108 = 3.71 you would need 4 yards, it’s better to have a little more than not enough.
